Good value for a first order

I was looking for a new raw food for my dog and saw Were Wolf Food had a trial box. Got a good discount on it, which made it feel like a smart buy. The raw beef dog food in the box seemed high quality. It was a decent amount for the price I paid.

My dog loves this food!

Seriously, the raw salmon dog food is a hit! My pup just devours it every time. I also grabbed some of the chicken wings for dogs, and they were a huge success. The packaging was great, everything arrived super cold, and the portions are perfect. I'm so happy I found this place! Will absolutely be ordering again and telling my friends with dogs about it.

Solid food, slight delivery hiccup

My dog has been on raw for a while, and I decided to try Were Wolf Food's raw chicken dog food. The quality was good, and my dog ate it without issues. Delivery took 5 days to reach Denver, which was a bit longer than I expected for frozen food, but it arrived perfectly frozen, so no real harm done. Customer service was responsive when I asked about tracking. Overall, a positive experience, but faster shipping would be a plus.

Dependable choice for my pup

I've ordered from Were Wolf Food several times now, mostly the raw lamb dog food and some of the dehydrated treats. This last order was just as consistent as the others. The food always arrives frozen solid, which is important for raw. My dog has been doing great on it, good coat and energy levels. I like that I can rely on the quality and the delivery; it's why I keep coming back instead of trying other brands. They've been a steady provider for us.

Is there usually a first time discount or a code floating around? Looking to try a few different meats for my picky eater.

A Alex 2 months ago

Yep, there's usually a 10% off your first order, or like a discounted trial box. Check the homepage banner usually.

K Kevin Ito 2 months ago

I got 10% off my first order just by signing up for their newsletter. It popped up automatically for me.

can you use more than one coupon code at a time? like if i have a referral thing and a new customer discount?

A Amber Carter 3 months ago

Nah, usually only one coupon per order from what I've seen. Tried to stack once and it didn't work.

S Sophie M. 3 months ago

Yeah, pretty sure it's just one code. Subscription discounts apply automatically though, so you don't need a code for those.

thinking about switching from Bella and Duke, anyone tried both and have thoughts on how Were Wolf Food compares?

S Sophie 3 months ago

I used Bella and Duke before this. I find Were Wolf Food's ingredients list a bit clearer and my dog seems to like the texture more, less mushy.

S Sophie Bennett 2 months ago

I think it's pretty similar quality tbh. Were Wolf Food sometimes has better variety if you're looking for different protein sources, like the duck and venison.

Anyone in California ordered from here? How long did it take to get to you and was it still frozen solid?

B Ben 2 months ago

Yeah, I'm in LA. Took about 4-5 days for me. Everything was still frozen, packed really well.

J June 2 months ago

Mine took a week to San Diego, but it was still totally frozen when it got here. Good packaging for sure.

what's the deal with returns if my dog just doesn't like it? kinda worried about dropping a lot of money if he rejects it.

W Wendy 2 months ago

I haven't had to return food but I returned some treats my dog didn't like, and it was pretty straightforward, just email them.

G Greg 2 months ago

I'm not sure about open food, but their customer service is generally pretty good if you reach out to them. They might offer a credit or something if it's a first-time purchase issue.

hey planning to try this for my frenchie, how big are the portions usually? worried about ordering too much or too little.

S Sarah 3 months ago

They have different sizes, I usually get the 500g trays for my lab and it's good for like, two meals. For a frenchie you'd probably want smaller.

C Cleo Bennett 3 months ago

I've ordered the trial box and it comes with various sizes, so you can kinda see what works for your dog. They have specific puppy stuff too which is nice.
